2. Data We Collect
Account data
Name, email address, and password hash — collected when you create an account.
Billing data
Payment information is handled directly by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status but never your card details.
Usage data
Pages visited, features used, IP address, browser type, and device information — collected automatically for service operation and improvement.

We use essential cookies for authentication and session management, and optional analytics cookies with your consent. See our Cookie Policy.
3. Legal Basis (GDPR Article 6)
- Contract performance— processing account and billing data to provide the service you purchased.
- Legitimate interest— analytics, security monitoring, and fraud prevention.
- Consent— marketing emails and optional analytics cookies, which you may withdraw at any time.

- Account data— retained until you delete your account, plus a 30-day grace period.
- Billing and invoice data— retained for 10 years as required by Bulgarian tax law (ДОПК, Art. 38).
- Usage logs— retained for 90 days.
- Backups— purged within 30 days of account deletion.
6. Your Rights (GDPR)
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Rectify inaccurate data
- Eraseyour data (“right to be forgotten”)
- Port your data to another service
- Object to processing based on legitimate interest
- Withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing)
- Lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (КЗЛД) at cpdp.bg

7. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act:
- Right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used.

- Right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell your personal data.
- Non-discrimination for exercising your rights.

Your data is primarily stored within the EU (Hetzner, Germany). Where data is transferred to the USA (Stripe, Resend), those transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) as approved by the European Commission.
9. Children
LaunchPaid is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe we have collected data from a minor, please contact us immediately.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes at least 30 days in advance via the email address associated with your account.
